Awaken Alma Artistry (originally, Awaken Alma) is a very special name to me. “Alma” is the name of the street I grew up on in Portland, Oregon. it is the Spanish word for “soul”. through my business, I hope to not only inspire but help others on their soul awakening journey.

I created the Awaken Alma brand in June of 2021, while living in central Texas.
it was honestly a very depressing stage of my life because I hated living in a military town, Texas was so extremely different than the lush & beautiful Oregon that I knew & loved, & besides working as a barista five days a week, I didn’t feel like I was pursuing my passion for what I wanted to do longterm.

during my awakening journey, I felt called more than ever to work with crystals, study birth charts, learn about my Human Design (I’m an Emotional Generator), & dive headfirst into the metaphysical. I visited a local Saturday market & thought “I want to be a vendor here”… but what would I sell?

my first setup was literally just a de-stash of my own personal collection. little by little, I formed connections with wholesale suppliers, got more inventory in, & also added more products to my shop, such as aura roll-ons, oracle decks, & card readings. having my own little business & building connections through all of the events that I was a part of, gave me so much purpose & fulfillment.

a year or so later, when I moved back to Oregon, I was able to set up shop in Indigo Wellness Center. And through a series of manifestation & open doors, I pursued my certification in Reiki & added it as another service offering. (that’s another episode on my podcast that you can find & listen to!)

after moving to Southern California, I decided to pursue my licensure in Esthetics. pairing my passion for spirituality with health & wellness opened many doors for me to offer spiritually based experiences while also targeting skincare needs. this grew my brand into one of unique offerings.
